Trams of the City of Prague
For many years DECOLED has been decorating the trams of the Capital City Transport Company with Christmas light decorations. Prague residents and tourists alike have fallen in love with these exceptional cars and they are now a Christmas tradition in the metropolis. However, it is not easy to set up such a tram.
Everything has to be subjected to the very strict safety conditions of the railway authority. So on the one hand there is creativity, which knows no boundaries, and on the other hand there is reality, which is limited by strict safety rules.
It is also interesting to note that the "Christmas" trams in Prague, unlike in many other cities in the Czech Republic and Europe, are included in regular operation. These are not sightseeing rides. This means additional restrictions that must be taken into account when installing them.
Drivers must not have their view obstructed in any way. Passengers must not be caught or injured by any of the decorations.
Of course, nothing must fall off, break off or break off from the trams, which are constantly in motion and moving through the city.
Last but not least, the decorations must be able to withstand the maintenance and washing of the trams.
