The tree writes its Christmas story

Let your tree shine this year. Light chains, coloured lights, ornaments, original decorations and trendy colours for this Christmas season will help you do just that.

A tree like this will decorate your home with pride and elegance while telling a unique Christmas story full of joy and unforgettable experiences.

There's no need to wait, let's open the first chapter of the Christmas story.

Enter the story of your Christmas tree

Get together with the whole family at the Christmas table and turn your dreams of a decorated tree into reality. Put on your favourite carols or a Christmas movie. Then just debate what trendy colours, ornament sets and decorations you'll use to decorate the Christmas beauty that can't wait to bring the true Christmas spirit to you.

Can't decide what trendy colours to choose this year? Then take a look at the Christmas colour and decoration trends for 2022. Here you're sure to find the right colour or colour combination that will grab your heart and bring out the most beautiful decoration.

Your tree will shine too

Whether you choose a fake Christmas tree, a potted tree or don't miss out on the popular scent of pine needles on a live tree, let your imagination run wild and dress your tree in a vibrant Christmas coat.

Have you already bought your tree? Then choose the perfect place to display it with joy. A place close to an outlet and away from fireplaces or radiators is ideal.

Trees also like plenty of light, but they don't like the harsh sunlight that sometimes streaks across the winter sky.

Christmas trees with a message

If you have the ideal spot selected, then you need to place the tree in a stand and give it a good 'breather' to allow it to spread its branches. Does it have fewer of them or is it even crooked somewhere? No matter, it will make your Christmas story all the more real. That's what Christmas is all about. It's about celebrating the uniqueness of each of us, our authenticity, joy and love.

A beautifully decorated Christmas tree becomes a reality...

This year's Christmas story is really beautiful, isn't it? So let's step into the next chapters where the Christmas tree gets a magical Christmas decoration. And how do we do that?

  • First up is the Christmas tree coronation. Place an ornament on top of it. It's up to you whether it's a star, a bow or a topper. But size it to the size of the tree.
  • Then light up the tree with bright lights. Always plug in the light chain first. This way you will know if the distance from the socket is just right and also check that the chain is undamaged. Keep the chain lit at all times and decorate slowly from the bottom. Do not put the lights on the branches at first, just tickle the branches. Once you have the chain in place, you can then fix the lights to the tree so that they are in place.

And approximately how many metres of glow do you need? Here, the more the better. Decorate a tree up to one metre in length with 6 metre chains of lights, trees larger than 1.5 metres will need a chain at least twice as long.

Time for stylish, colourful Christmas decorations

What trendy colours have won your Christmassy heart? Was it the romantic pink in the shade "senior pink", the popular "rose gold" or "rose pink"?

Or was it the elegant snow-white reminiscent of falling snowflakes or the luxurious grey? Perhaps you were intrigued by the original shades of green, which range from light green to classic Christmas green to the darkest shade.

Whether you've chosen a new colour or stuck with the Christmas classics in shades of red and gold, it's safe to say you've picked the ones that will really make your Christmas story shine.

Decorate your tree with the biggest ornaments first. These belong down and to the trunk. Be sure to place the ornaments there, the tree will then be beautifully sculptural. Gradually reduce the size of the ornaments as you go upwards, and the smallest and tiniest ones should be on top. Try to keep the ornaments approximately equidistant when decorating. Put the ones you want to let shine the brightest at the front, so they are visible at a glance.

A Christmas world full of magical stories

If you're a lover of chocolate collections and sweets, then add these goodies to your tree. It's definitely a good idea to have some in stock so you can replenish them if needed. We suspect they'll start disappearing from the tree all too quickly.

Then you can use chains and garlands to add a unique style to the tree. Beautiful, isn't it? We think you'll have a lot of fun decorating. Especially when you listen to your unique story. And enjoy every magical moment of it to the fullest.
