We all know the most famous Christmas story, it has its symbols and attributes, but it also has many forms, representations and interpretations. In other words, it's up to us to spice up or create our "Christmas story". It is a good thing that with the cultivation of public space, the aesthetic demands for a personal concept are increasing and the need to find an expression for the 'Christmas story' is growing.
Every place has its own milieu, history and present. Christmas decorations can tell a story and, with respect for all the circumstances, can complete or enhance it. By selecting appropriate Christmas attributes, it will then gradually begin to create its own. For example, towns and villages close to the mountains will probably choose a different expression for their Christmas story than a listed town in southern Bohemia or Moravia. The decorations will tell their story differently in a predominantly industrial town, and differently in a square with a Renaissance town hall.
Today, the story is not only created by the light motifs on the lampposts along the access roads, but is also created in the heart of the places where people meet. It doesn't have to be just squares, every town has its own uniqueness, its own character. In one town, after lighting the tree, residents walk together to light the fountain a little further on, in another people head to the castle garden, in another they walk the whole Christmas way. Residents and visitors alike appreciate such accents, which come as a surprise every year.

Christmas decoration has seen a tumultuous evolution in technology, materials and, most importantly, design.
